Meet Cortex

The intelligence
behind Reflane.

Cortex looks across your whole book and recommends the one thing worth doing next for each relationship, with the reasons in plain English.

  • Reads the signals. Who has introduced before, which introductions became clients, how long since your last ask, what is still open, and your own feedback.
  • Recommends one next step. Ranked, with the reasons behind it, so you never have to guess why.
  • You decide. Accept it, snooze it or pass. Nothing is sent without you, and opt-outs always win.

Possible next actions

  • Ask Now
  • Follow Up
  • Thank
  • Reconnect

How Cortex decides

  1. 01Reads your book

Referral history, introductions that became clients, time since your last ask, anything still open, and your feedback.

  2. 02Rules out

Anyone who opted out, anyone with an ask already pending, and anyone whose introduction is still open.

  3. 03Ranks what is left

Overdue thank-yous first, then follow-ups, then asks to proven advocates, then everyone else.

  4. 04Explains itself

Every suggestion carries its reasons, so you can agree, disagree or adjust.

  5. 05Learns from you

Snooze it and it waits for your date. Pass and it will not repeat that suggestion for 30 days.

What each next step means

Ask now
The relationship is ready and the timing is right.
Follow up
Someone was introduced to you and is waiting. Reach out while it is warm.
Thank
A client made an introduction and has not been thanked yet.
Reconnect
It has been a while. Rebuild the relationship before asking.
Nurture
A new relationship. Add value before you ask.
Wait
Asking now would hurt more than help, for example an ask is already pending.
Do not contact
They opted out. Cortex never suggests outreach to them.

How it earns your trust

  • Two people, two decisions. The client who introduced someone and the person they introduced get separate recommendations, so following up never crowds out a thank-you.
  • It shows its work. Every recommendation is recorded with its reasons, so its track record is visible over time.
  • It stays in your book. Cortex never reads message content, and one advisor’s relationships never inform another’s.
  • You stay in control. Cortex suggests. Nothing is sent without you, and consent and opt-outs are enforced before anything goes out.
